January 1st is our opportunity to reboot, and as arbitrary as it may be, it's an opportunity to leave behind what's bad and embrace what's fresh and new. Last year was all about bringing an edgier palette into the home–with vibrant reds, modern metallics, and variations of the statement black accent wall.
Unlike 2018's color trends, 2019 is taking a more mindful approach to the development of new shades. According to PPG Paints, the color of 2019 is a deep hunter green that's inspired by nature. “Night Watch is about bringing the healing power from the outdoors into your home through color," said Dee Schlotter, PPG senior color marketing manager. "The dark green hue pulls our memories of natural environments to the surface to recreate the calming, invigorating euphoria we feel when in nature.”
How do you incorporate this into your home?
