Creating seasonal tablescapes is one of my favorite things to do! So today I’m sharing my 5 simple tips on how to create the perfect tablescape using affordable items from Walmart.

#1: Add a center focal piece

Create a foundation for your tablescape design by adding a table throw. For added design and dimension to your tablescape create a centerpiece medley of the following; a mix of fresh and/or faux floral, decorative vessel, or fall pumpkins

#2: Layer your dinnerware

Instantly elevate your table design with a decorative charger. Create visual interest and dimension to your table design with stacked dinnerware for a layered look. Complement with accenting flatware to add another level of interest for your guests.

*Table Setting Tip: set forks to the left and knives and spoons to the right.

#3: Use cloth dinner napkins

Choosing cloth dinner napkins not only creates an added level of luxury for a dinner party, but it’s also an opportunity to create more visual interest.

*Get creative on the napkin placement – think traditional, asymmetrical, or centered!

#4: Add natural elements

Adding fresh and/or faux florals or greenery helps bring in the hues of the season. I also love adding pine cones and acorns to my fall tablescapes

#5: Add taper candles

Candles of any kind are welcome on your tablescape, but taper candles instantly add an unexpected elegance and a designer-level aesthetic. I love incorporating seasonal or festive hues into the designs.
